Montana History Foundation
supported the reconstruction of the Maloney Cabin and we are the featured article in their November/December Newsletter.
The Historical Museum is temporarily closed for the safety, health and well-being of our guests, members, partners, volunteers, and staff. The escalating situation with COVID-19 in Missoula County has caused the museum to evaluate our position on remaining open, and we feel the most responsible option is to have a temporary closure through at least March 30th.
On or before March 30th, the Staff of the Museum with the direction of the Missoula County Health Department will decide whether the museum reopens, or if a closure needs to be extended.
In addition to regular hours of operation, the Historical Museum is postponing all special events and programming until further notice.
We will continue to share local history to help everyone get through their own quarantine. Keep an eye out on Facebook for stories and videos all about the place and people we love.
We appreciate your continued support during these difficult times for us all. Donations and memberships are some of the ways in which you can help the Museum, if you are able.
As a community organization, our primary concern is the safety and well being of the Missoula Community. Thank you for your understanding at this challenging time for our country.
Please stay well, Seeley Lake HIstorical Museum
